TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Binding Agreement
Aveim (“Aveim“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) operates this Website. These Terms & Conditions set out the terms and conditions on which you (“Client“, “you“, or “your“) are permitted to use the Website and our Services. By accessing this Website or purchasing a Design Package, you agree to be bound by, and comply with, these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our Website or placing an order.
2. Services
2.1. Aveim provides virtual interior design services tailored to the package purchased by the Client. Deliverables vary depending on the package purchased and are outlined on the relevant service (Design Package) page.
2.2. All services are provided remotely. Clients are responsible for supplying accurate measurements, photos, floor plans, and any other information required to complete the project. Recommendations are based solely on the information provided by the Client. Aveim cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
3. Payment
All Design Packages are offered at a fixed fee and must be paid in full before work begins. Payments are securely processed through our designated payment provider. To purchase a Service (Design Package), the Client must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you may only purchase a Service (Design Package) with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Project Process & Turnaround Time
4.1. Following the purchase of a Service (Design Package), the Client will receive a questionnaire requesting relevant project information, such as measurements, photos, reference images, and more.
4.2. The design process and any estimated turnaround time will commence once all required information has been received. Delays in providing requested information, responding to correspondence, or submitting accurate project details may result in an extension of the estimated turnaround time.
4.3. Unless otherwise stated, Design Packages are not collaborative during the design development phase. Once work has commenced, Aveim will develop the design independently based on the information provided by the Client. The completed Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan will be delivered and presented digitally.
4.4. Any turnaround times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. While every effort will be made to deliver Services within the estimated timeframe, Aveim shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, fire, flooding, internet or technology failures, labor disputes, governmental actions, or other unforeseen events.
5. Design Packages & Deliverables
5.1. The specific deliverables included in each Design Package are outlined on the corresponding Design Package page.
5.2. Aveim does not provide bathroom or kitchen design. Where these areas are included within a Design Package, recommendations are limited to styling, furnishings, decor, accessories, and color selections only.
5.3. Each Design Package applies to one space only. Open-plan areas (for example, combined living and dining spaces) are considered two spaces and require two Design Packages.
5.4. The scope of each Design Package is limited to the agreed space, requirements, and information provided by the Client in the questionnaire. Any additional spaces, design requests, layouts, product sourcing, revisions beyond those included, or changes to the original project scope may be subject to an additional fee.
6. Revisions
Each Design Package includes one complimentary revision, unless otherwise stated on the applicable Design Package page. One complimentary revision consists of one consolidated round of feedback. Where applicable, revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of the Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan being delivered. Requests received after this period, or any additional revisions beyond those included in the purchased Design Package, may be subject to an additional fee or treated as a new Design Package.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1. To ensure the best possible outcome, the Client is responsible for providing:
Accurate measurements
Clear photos
Relevant floor plans
Accurate information regarding their budget, preferences, and project requirements
7.2. Any budget provided by the Client should relate only to furniture, lighting, decor, and accessories. Construction, renovation, installation, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and similar costs should be excluded.
7.3. The Client is responsible for responding to requests for information and correspondence in a timely manner. Delays in communication may affect the project timeline and estimated delivery date.
7.4. All design recommendations are based on the information provided by the Client. Aveim is not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by the Client.
7.5. The Client is responsible for downloading and securely storing all project files upon receiving the link to the completed Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan. Project files will be retained for 30 days after the Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan has been delivered and may be permanently deleted thereafter.
8. Purchasing Products
8.1. Furniture, lighting, textiles, decor, accessories, paint, and other items recommended within the Design Plan are purchased separately by the Client.
8.2. All product recommendations are provided as suggestions only. While Aveim makes every effort to recommend suitable products, we cannot guarantee product availability, pricing, specifications, delivery times, or continued availability after the Design Plan has been delivered. Prices quoted within the Design Plan are accurate at the time of preparation only and are subject to change without notice.
8.3. The Client is responsible for verifying all product dimensions, measurements, clearances, access requirements, installation requirements, landlord approvals (where applicable), and suitability before purchasing products or commencing any installation, renovation, or construction work. The Client is also responsible for confirming that all selected products comply with any applicable building regulations, safety requirements, and local laws.
8.4. It is the Client's responsibility to implement the design recommendations. Aveim is not responsible for purchases made by the Client or for any issues relating to third-party retailers or manufacturers, including pricing, discontinued products, manufacturing defects, delivery delays, damages, returns, warranties, or customer service.
8.5. Product images, descriptions, colors, finishes, textures, and materials shown on retailer websites or within the Design Plan are intended for reference only and may differ from the final product due to manufacturing variations, photography, screen settings, or changes made by the retailer.
8.6. The Design Package may include links to third-party websites for the Client's convenience. Aveim does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the content, products, services, or policies of any third-party website. Accessing or purchasing from these websites is at the Client's own discretion and risk.
8.7. Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery, shipping, installation, assembly, and any associated fees are not included within the Design Package or shopping list.
9. Visual Representations
9.1. All design imagery, visualizations, floor plans, furniture layouts, and other digital deliverables are provided for illustrative and conceptual purposes only.
9.2. Colors, textures, finishes, materials, proportions, and lighting may appear differently depending on screen settings, viewing methods, photography, lighting conditions, and manufacturing variations. While every effort is made to accurately represent the intended design, Aveim cannot guarantee that colors, finishes, materials, or products shown digitally will exactly match the final product in person.
10. Refunds & Cancellations
10.1. By purchasing a Design Package, the Client expressly requests that Aveim begin providing the Service before any applicable cancellation period has expired. If the Client wishes to cancel a purchase, notify Aveim as soon as possible by email at hello@aveim.com
10.2. The Client acknowledges that once the Service has been fully performed and the Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan has been completed, any applicable right to cancel will end and the Service is considered fulfilled and non-refundable.
10.3. If the Client cancels within 14 days of purchase after work has commenced, a partial refund will be issued based on the proportion of the Service that has been completed.
10.4. If the Client cancels within 14 days of purchase and work has not commenced, a full refund will be issued.
10.5. Cancellations requested more than 14 days after the date of purchase are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1. All intellectual property rights in the designs, concepts, drawings, renders, mood boards, floor plans, layouts, presentations, shopping lists, implementation guides, and other materials created by Aveim remain the exclusive property of Aveim. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to the Client.
11.2. Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan solely for the specific residential or commercial project for which it was created.
11.3. The Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, shared, resold, published, or used for any other project or commercial purpose without the prior written consent of Aveim.
12. Marketing & Portfolio
12.1. Unless the Client requests otherwise in writing, Aveim may use project imagery, concept renders, mood boards, visualizations, and photos of completed spaces for portfolio, marketing, advertising, website, and social media purposes.
12.2. Aveim will never publish the Client's full address, contact information, or other personally identifiable information in connection with any marketing materials.
12.3. Where project imagery is shared, we may reference the retailers, brands, or manufacturers featured within the Design Plan unless the Client requests otherwise.
13. Privacy & Personal Information
Aveim respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and process personal information only as necessary to provide our Services, process payments, communicate with Clients, and improve our Website. This may include your name, email address, project details, photos, floor plans, measurements, and other information you voluntarily provide.

14. Communication
All communication relating to the Services will be conducted exclusively via email. [Your Studio Name] does not provide consultations, support, or project communication via video conferencing, telephone, social media, text messages, or other messaging platforms.
15. Pricing
15.1. All prices displayed on the Website are subject to change without prior notice.
15.2. If an error is identified in the price of a Design Package after an order has been placed, Aveim will notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the order or offer the Client the option to proceed at the correct price.
15.3. Deliberate price changes will not affect Design Packages that have already been purchased and paid for.
16. Website Information
Aveim reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any Service, pricing, specifications, or descriptions at any time without prior notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, nor for any reliance placed on information that has subsequently been updated or amended.
17. Right to Refuse Service
17.1. Aveim reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any Service at its reasonable discretion, including, but not limited to:
Projects that fall outside the scope of our Services.
Situations where the Client is in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
Circumstances where we reasonably believe we are unable to provide the expected standard of service.
17.2. If a Design Package has been purchased and work has not yet commenced, the Client will receive a full refund.
17.3. If work has already commenced, any refund will be determined in accordance with the Refunds & Cancellations section.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1. Design recommendations are provided for aesthetic, decorative, and spatial planning purposes only.
18.2. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Services are limited to online interior design and do not include architectural or engineering services, technical drawings, project management, or on-site supervision.
18.3. Design Plans and Furniture Layout Plans are prepared based on the dimensions, floor plans, and information supplied by the Client. Aveim is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect or incomplete measurements.
18.4. Furniture layouts are intended as design recommendations and should not be considered architectural, engineering, or construction documentation. The Client is responsible for consulting appropriately qualified professionals before undertaking any structural alterations, electrical work, plumbing, construction, or other regulated work.
18.5. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aveim shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, delay, injury, or claim arising from the implementation of the Design Plan or Furniture Layout Plan, reliance upon design recommendations, inaccurate information supplied by the Client, or the acts, omissions, products, or services of any third party.
18.6. Aveim is not responsible for the work, advice, conduct, or performance of any contractor, installer, decorator, electrician, plumber, carpenter, builder, retailer, manufacturer, or other third-party engaged by the Client.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.

20. Changes to These Terms
Aveim reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective upon publication on this Website unless otherwise stated. The version of the Terms & Conditions in effect at the time a Design Package is purchased will apply to that purchase. Clients are encouraged to review these Terms & Conditions periodically to ensure they are familiar with the current version.
